Group formation & topic interests

Have a group, or need one? Submit your preferences and, if you wish, share the topics that interest you.

Before you begin

• Already have a group? Have one representative submit the members you already have, even if there are only two or three of you. You do not need five members now—I will assign additional students as needed to complete groups of 4–5.
• Need a group? Submit for yourself. This is completely fine—I will assign you to a group. Students without submitted preferences will also be assigned.
• Topic interests are optional. They help with matching but do not reserve a topic. Final topic selection begins after group formation; groups may discuss a later topic change with me.
• Check for confirmation. An automated email from me will be sent to the representative, with group members CC’d if their optional email addresses are provided. If you need a group, the confirmation will be sent only to you. All recipients can see the confirmation details, including notes, and each other’s email addresses.
• Need to make a change? You may submit again before the deadline. Only your most recent submission will count.
